The Real to the trace suggests that there would be a trace to follow, however, there is nothing more than insistence on marking it. It is the inexhaustible repetition that indicates the same place at the precise moment where the Real returns. It is the same place from which life pulsates, the irreducible navel of primordial repression, the inaccessible of the unconscious: that which does not cease not to be written. What Freud warned escaped him, without being able to formulate it, Lacan takes from the very impossibility and at the limit of formalization presents the Real.
To follow the Real to the trace in psychoanalytic experience is a matter of transmission; from the daily practice of listening – in the vicissitudes of the direction of a cure – to the field of extension. The imprint that spurs from the unfinished, the failed, what blocks the march, makes it present that the non-institutionalizable of the psychoanalytic experience produces a modality of the collective of analysts different from any other group, interrogating its mode compromises the future of Psychoanalysis.
