If, as Raymond Queneau points out somewhere in the first volume of this series (Powerful Ideas. Atlas of Potential Literature, 1) we oulipians "try to demonstrate the movement by walking," what better way than to lead by example and offer readers a second volume of potential texts? And if it is true that the objective of the Oulipo is not so much to create literary works as to propose forms and structures that can be used by writers around the world as they please, what better way than to offer a volume of potential texts by non-Oulipian authors ? Atlas of potential literature, 2: Powerful Texts is thus proposed as an attempt to show the influence of the Oulipo on this side of the Pyrenees, gathering texts from twenty-two authors who reside or have resided in the Peninsula, inspired by the procedures or authors oulipians. Of course, they are not all who are, but we can attest (and we refer to the texts) that they are all who are.
