An Ecology of Signs comprises seven essays dedicated to examining the relationships between the configurations of modes of experience (artistic, vital, corporeal) and the ways in which we can grasp their differentiation and variations. Supported by the tradition invoked by Deleuze, and drawing on the work of figures such as Simondon, Guattari, and Ruyer, among others, Sauvagnargues seems to construct a path that traverses fields, thematic axes, and problems, revealing distinct worlds that coexist and are like bubbles of signs that invite us to pause and reflect upon them. By forcing us to think, they open us wide to an experiential communication where we individuate what we are or become.
