Giordano Bruno was born in 1548 in the Spanish Viceroyalty of Naples, in 1576 abandoned the Dominican order to undertake a nomadic life that took him to France, England, Germany, Bohemia, Switzerland and, again, to Italy. Under these conditions he wrote his vast philosophical, mnemonic and magical work. I seized by the Inquisition in 1593 and moved to Rome, died burned at the stake in 1600.
