He holds a Ph.D. in Theology (Centre Sèvres, Paris) and a degree in Contemporary History (University of Barcelona). He is director of the Department of Ethics and Christian Thought IQS (Universitat Ramon Llull, Barcelona), member of the Center of Studies "Cristianisme i Justícia" group coordinator teachers Christian social thought UNIJES (colleges of the Society of Jesus in Spain), and specialist Ellacuría thinking on the phenomenon of violence and political reconciliation processes.
He has published Theology of marginalization (1992), The Spirit in history (1993), The Legacy of Ignacio Ellacurfa (1998), The historical theology Ellacuría (Trotta, 1999), A Century of Violence (2003) and Caught in violence (2008).
