The Western tradition has given us a number of categories philosophical, historical and policies that allow us to understand the two great events of our times: totalitarianism, and globalization. Therefore, we have to rethink all these categories in the light of the changes that have given rise to the global society._x000D_

Antonio Campillo began rethinking the ontological distinction between physical and political, which is on the basis of all Western thought. Then the evolutionary conception problematizes and Eurocentric world history developed by the various theories of modernization and the great modern political ideologies, and instead proposes a new historical-political ontology. It is used to analyze the main challenges of our time: the tension between citizenship and immigration after the new international migration, the link between violence and the law after the failure of the civilizational promises of modernity, and the limits of state sovereign nation to the challenge of the new global risks._x000D_
