Wendy Brown is Emamuel Heller Professor of Political Science at the University of California, Berkeley. He has written essays on contemporary politics, critical theory and theories of neoliberalism, which addresses issues such as power, political identity, citizenship and subjectivity in liberal democracies. It has deepened in the theses of Marx, Nietzsche, Weber, Freud, Frankfurt School, Foucault and other contemporary thinkers. She is the author of several books, among which, beside this, Regulating Aversion: Tolerance in the Age of Identity and Empire (2006); Edgework: Critical Essays on Knowledge and Politics (2005); and Politics Out of History (2001).
