Generación cochebomba is a novel that brings us closer to a crucial moment in the history of Peru: to those eighties of the last century in which Sendero Luminoso and subtes -or underground rock, a brother cousin movement of Iberian punk- crossed their paths . Long days of friendship, love, music, drugs and wild and disconcerting armed actions come together in a story that has many virtues: one of them, showing us, through the eyes of a completely unbelieving generation, what life was like in Lima in that time of scarcity, blackouts and repression.
