Arturo San Agustín (Barcelona, 1949) has a degree in communication sciences, journalism and advertising. For ten years he wrote a daily column in El Periódico. He received the City of Barcelona Prize for Journalism for his work as an interviewer -for eight years- in El Periódico, where, according to the jury, he innovated in the genre of the interview. He currently writes in El Mundo. As creative director he worked for eleven years in the main Spanish advertising agencies. The Cannes Advertising Film Festival twice awarded their works. He won the Plaza Mayor Prize for poetry and finalist for the Antonio Machado short story prize. He is the author of twelve books and five documentaries.
