Why do they knot their tongues and bodies? It's a mystery. Nobody really knows why the human body is a talking body. The consequences that this entails, in the plane of love, desire and enjoyment, are the subject of this book. In The Mystery of the Speaking Body, we introduce ourselves to Jacques Lacan's teaching on the body: the place that the body occupies in the analytic experience and the relationship of the body with the Unconscious. And it is that for Lacan the body speaks to us, it tells us what the Unconscious does not know how to express in another way. If we learn to listen to him we can try to help him. This book follows the keys of Lacan to try to understand what our body tells us, a living body, with needs and that is expressed in its own way: pain, grief, pleasure, illness, etc.
