Conservative media present feminists as anti-men women, always angry. But quite the contrary, feminism has managed to improve the lives of all people. Thanks to feminism, we all live more egalitarian: at work and at home, in our social and sexual relationships. Thanks to feminism, domestic violence is no longer a secret, the use of contraceptives has been normalized and we are all a bit freer.

However, feminism wanted much more than equality between men and women. When I talked about brotherhood among women, I wanted to overcome class and race boundaries, transform the world at its root. Feminism is anti-racist, anti-racist and anti-homophobic or does not deserve that name. Many white women make use of feminism to defend their interests but do not maintain this commitment to black, precarious and lesbian women; That is not feminism.

As much damage does the movement a woman who reproduces sexism as a feminist man brings. Feminism is for women and for men. We need new models of feminist masculinity, family and feminist upbringing, beauty and feminist sexuality. We need a renewed feminism that explains with simple words that we intend to overcome sexism and place mutual support in the center. That is feminism. And that is the purpose of this book.
