Born in Soria in 1972, he has been working as a music journalist for twenty years. He has published articles in El País, La Razón, Playground, Rolling Stone and El Confidencial, among other media. Early victim of indie alienation, he was one of the founders of the Watercolor label, coordinator of the Spiral magazine and occasional worker at the Benicassim International Festival. For two decades, he collaborated in the music magazine Rockdelux, where he signed the interview section Trick or Treat. He was a member of the group promoting the left-wing cultural publication Ladinamo.
He has also worked as a scriptwriter on the television program Mapa Sonoro (TVE-2), curator of the musical part in the exhibition The Inmaterial Heritage (Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona) and director of the Cara B book collection, dedicated to exploring in-depth classic albums of Spanish pop-rock. He is a regular contributor to Minerva, a magazine of the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid. He currently participates in cultural discussion forums such as Ecos del ghetto, Fundación Robo or Ladies who talk about music.
