Orlando Merino is a Bachelor of Science Graduate of communication at the Autonomous Metropolitan University-Xochimilco and the film career at the University Center
of Cinematographic Studies of the UNAM. With his thesis "Old Morality" won the Ariel award for best medium-length filmation and the Bronze Hand Award at the Latin American Festival of New York Cinema. He also has a postgraduate degree in creative visualization by the University of Communication
