
Daniel Mecca is a writer, poet, teacher, and cultural manager born in Buenos Aires. He has worked for the country's most important media outlets. He is the creator and director of the #BorgesPalooza festival. He graduated from TEA (Teatro de Arte Argentina). He is the author of the poetry collections *Ahorcados en la felicidad* (2009), *Lírico* (2014), *Haikus periodísticos* (2016), *Música de incendios* (2021), *Troya, aparta de mí este cáliz* (2022), and *Las armas y las letras* (2023); the novel *Aira o muerte* (2023); the poetry collection *Ahora: Apocalipsis* (2024); *Los Canto: biografía de Estela y Patricio Canto*; and the essays *Borges, la gran bestia pop de la literatura argentina* and *Es todo verso: centro de atención al poeta*, both from 2024.
