Audomaro Hidalgo

Audomaro Hidalgo is a Mexican poet, essayist, and translator. He studied Latin American Literature at the National University of Litoral (UNL) in Santa Fe, Argentina. He holds a Master's degree in Literature from the University of La Havre in France. He was a recipient of scholarships from the Foundation for Mexican Letters (FLM) and the National Fund for Culture and the Arts (FONCA), the State Fund for Culture and the Arts of Tabasco, the Program to Support Artistic Creation and Development (PECDA) of Tabasco, and the Program of the Union of Latin American Universities. He won the José Carlos Becerra Tabasco Poetry Prize in 2013 and the Juana de Asbaje National Poetry Prize in 2010 for his book "El fuego de las noches." He directed the "Carlos Pellicer" Ibero-American Poetry Gathering in Villahermosa for five years. He has lived in France since 2016.
