Francesca Gargallo di Castel Lentini Celentani (Rome, November 25, 1956 - Mexico City, March 3, 2022) was an Italian writer of feminist ideology, activist and editor who developed her work in Mexico and the rest of Latin America since 1979. He published his work mainly in Spanish.
As a literary writer, she has published novels, science fiction novels, poetry, short stories, and children's stories. In the field of essay and historiography, she wrote about the ideas of Latin American and Mexican feminism, as well as aesthetics and literary criticism, as well as visual arts. She also served as an editor, journalist and translator. She collaborated in magazines such as Proceso and was part of the editorial boards of the publications Cuadernos Americanos, Blanco Móvil, and Pensares y que Haces, among others.
