John Arne Sæterøy, Jason, was born in Molde (Norway) in 1965. After completing secondary studies and spending a year in the Army, he entered an art school in Oslo. In 2002 he won the Harvey Award for Outstanding Author. Cartoon and illustration have been their main occupations in recent years. His comics have been published in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Holland, Slovakia, Switzerland, United States and Spain. He currently resides in the French city of Montpellier.
