Luis García Jambrina

Spanish author, Luis García Jambrina studied Hispanic Philology at the University of Salamanca, where he received his doctorate. He is currently a professor at this same university, an activity that he combines with his work as a literary critic for media such as ABC and the writing of essays, stories and novels.
In the field of essays, García Jambrina's work has revolved around academic and literary aspects, managing to be a finalist for awards such as Fray Luis de León.
He became known with El manuscript de piedra (2008), awarded in 2009 with the prestigious City of Zaragoza International Prize for Historical Novel, a series about the figure of Fernando de Rojas consisting of four books. He has also published anthologies of stories (Muertos S.A. and Oposiciones a la morgue) and a sample of the author in the detective genre is the novel En tierra de lobos published in 2013.
