Toledo (1963). He holds a PhD in Philosophy from the Complutense University of Madrid and a professor of this discipline. He has published several articles on philosophical aesthetics on writing and image, taking an interest especially in the poetics of the ugly and the grotesque in Western art. On these subjects he has lectured and taught courses at the Prado Museum, the Summer University of El Escorial, the Complutense University of Madrid and the Library of Castilla-La Mancha.
