Manuela de Barros is a philosopher, arts theorist, professor at the Paris 8 University and a visiting professor at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, where she has participated in several research projects. She is the author of the book Duchamp & Malevitch and editor of L'art a-t-il besoin du numérique ?, together with Jean-Pierre Balpe. He has also published specialized articles, critical texts and catalogs.
She is also a curator of artistic and thematic exhibitions.
His field of research are contemporary issues in which aesthetics and the impact of techno-science-industries are mixed on our representations and ways of life, as well as their political, ethical or ecological implications; themes that propose a general vision of the western world and its
ability to reproduce universally, and in which questions about their potential and their future.
