
Marcelo Pisarro was born in 1975. He is an anthropologist from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and is interested in the processes of modern nation-state building in the central Andean region. He frequently writes about music, and his texts have appeared in Clarín, La Nación, Revista Ñ, Ciencias Pardas, Nerds All Star, Madhouse, La Agenda, Inrockuptibles, Gatopardo, La Tempestad, Potlatch, New York Diario, Al Día, Clásica, El Conocedor, and RSVP, among other publications in Argentina and around the world.
