Mark Haddon - (Northampton, United Kingdom, 1963) is an illustrator, painter, poet, creative writing teacher and author of two novels and twenty books for children. A graduate in English Literature from the University of Oxford, he worked for a time with people who suffered from deficiencies. He has also written scripts for television, which have brought him two prestigious Bafta awards.
