Naoko Machida. She is a painter and picture book artist. She graduated from Musashino University College of Art and Design. Her illustrations have won thousands and thousands of cat-loving hearts. She currently lives with two cats: Shiraki (wood) and Sakura (cherry blossom). She is the illustrator of The Cat Who Was Searching for a Name and Home Alone.
