Pablo Ramos was born in the Buenos Aires suburb of Avellaneda in 1966. He is a poet, musician and narrator. He has written the novels The Origin of Sadness (Malpaso, 2014) and The Law of Ferocity (Malpaso, 2015). “In five minutes get up María” forms a trilogy with the two previous works. His book of stories "When the worst has passed" won the National Fund for the Arts (Argentina, 2003) and Casa de las Américas (Cuba, 2004) awards. In 2012 he published the collection of short stories El camino de la luna. His work is translated into French, Portuguese, Russian and German.
