He holds a PhD in Letters with postdoctoral studies from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, where he is also a professor at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters. Researcher at the Hermeneutics Seminar of the Institute of Philological Research, and regular collaborator in reading circles, popular education workshops and community cultural work experiences. Among his interests are the history of literary theory and the hermeneutics of the literary in Latin America, Latin American utopian thought and the experiences of cultural action in recent Mexico.
