Valeria Campos Salvatierra

She is a PhD in Philosophy from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile in co-direction with the Complutense University of Madrid and is an Associate Professor at the Philosophy Institute of the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaiso. His areas of expertise are phenomenology, ethics, political theory and philosophy of law. He has dedicated his research to the relationship between violence and discourse, specifically in contemporary authors such as Emmanuel Levinas, Jacques Derrida, Walter Benjamin, Eric Weil, Michel Foucault, among others. It also investigates the marginal place in philosophy certain themes such as food and taste as a bodily sense, based on a study of the genesis and structure of philosophical discourses on eating and tasting.
