William Saroyan

William Saroyan (Fresno, California, August 31, 1908-ibidem, May 18, 1981) was an Armenian-American writer who wrote numerous works and stories whose themes revolved around the first years of life of a child of impoverished immigrants Armenians, portraying the provincial universe of the western United States. Their stories were very popular during the years of the Great Depression.
