Ediciones Obelisco was born in Barcelona in 1981 and began its journey publishing only books on astrology, alchemy, esotericism and tradition, trying to fill an inexcusable gap in the Spanish bibliography of the time.

They have always tried to balance quality with commercial vision. Their selection criteria is simple: they choose the works that they like, that they find interesting and that they think may have an audience. In these more than 30 years of uninterrupted work, Obelisco has become synonymous with commitment, seriousness, prestige and a fair price and during this time the themes have expanded to self-help, Jungian psychology, martial arts, magic, naturism. , alternative therapies, religious books within Christianity and Judaism as well as a select collection of illustrated children's books.

Thanks to the work of Ediciones Obelisco, numerous unpublished authors have published their first book and some of them, such as Grian, translated into 7 languages, or Raimon Samsó, have been catapulted to fame. Some best-selling foreign authors were translated and edited for the first time in our language by their editorial and more minority themes such as the Pleiadians, the surprising Kryon messages, the liver cleanse or the Ho'oponopono are known in Spanish thanks to Obelisco.

With the capacity to print their books both in Spain and abroad, they also have a wide distribution in Spain and Latin America. Various agreements with friendly publishers have facilitated its presence in Miami, Mexico or Buenos Aires and with clients in practically all Spanish-speaking countries.

Obelisco is made up of a consolidated group of professionals with extensive experience and a great vocation, including Juli Peradejordi, the editor; Anna Mañas, head of the editorial and copyright department; María Benavides responsible for the production department or Mari Carmen Mediavilla as commercial director but without forgetting the rest of the team members who help, support and facilitate their work.
