The book presents the edition of the German text and Castilian translation by Das Unheimliche ("The Ominous", "The Sinister"), according to Sigmund Freud's autograph manuscript preserved in the Library of Congress of the United States, which is published here for the first time, with annotations, strikethroughs, corrections, etc. by Freud. The book begins with an introduction that presents the work and solves the criteria of critical editing, a few pages on the term "Unheimliche" and the three chapters of the text, in German and Spanish, with introductory notes and commentary by the editor. Finally, two annexes present an article by the publisher on this work, schelling's definition (1775–1854) of "Unheimliche", the translation of the Ring of Polycrates, and a translation of E.
