The main reason for this work is to try to avoid the usury of time of a series of articles that were published for different academic reasons: the presentation of a book, a review, a conference, an intervention for a magazine or newspaper. As a whole, it aims to be a work around bibliographical citation and conceptual reflection between writing and political thought, particularly that which can be directly or indirectly identified with the field of political theory. Most of the texts address various problems that have to do with time and democracy, and offer a multifaceted reading of the relationship between these two areas. The interest is precisely in the “relationship”, that is, in the problematization of the questions of democracy with the field of history of its recent development, in which this relationship ends up always being antagonistic. In this way, it is not only the theoretical question of the relationship of time with democracy that is at stake here, but it is also the temporal condition that the academic has when deciding to recover a series of short articles, but that have a common trait that makes them the occasion and the opportune moment to make them circulate again: their irresistible (un)current nature.
