To date, the prescriptions of neoliberalism have been implemented as a unique global strategy in any context. As can be seen, this has become the way to build an economic globalization, and the recipe book of structural adjustment in the face of the cyclical crises of late capitalism.

Miguel Ángel Contreras, director of the Social Institute of Mercosur during the period 2013-2015, breaks down in this book the concepts individual, freedom and market, the core of neoliberalism, to explain how this doctrine is not restricted only to the field of economics, but constitutes a global conception of politics, ethics, law and society.
