Mauricio Wiesenthal

Mauricio Wiesenthal (Barcelona, 1943) as well as writer has been professor of History of Culture and invited lecturer in several universities. His works include the essays La belle époque of Orient Express (1979) and Image of Spain (1984) and the novel The Testament of Nobel (1985). Great traveler, he has published travel books and studies on pre-Columbian cultures and Latin American countries. He is also a recognized enology expert (Great Wine Dictionary, 2011). His thinking and literary style are heirs to the great European cultural legacy, a tradition in which his "European Trilogy" (Book of Requiems, 2004, The Snobbery of the Swallows, 2007, and Luz de Vísperas, 2008).
