PhD in Sociology (University of Warwick, UK). Associate Professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences and History and Adjunct Professor at the Institute of Humanities, Diego Portales University. He is director of the PhD in Social Sciences UDP and associate researcher of the Millennium Nucleus "Crisis Models" (Project NS130017).
His research interests include: critical theory, sociology of concepts and conceptual change, moments of crisis, and foundation. In recent years, his research work has focused on theorizing "fragility" as a founding condition of social life, as well as understanding its manifestation in moments of discontinuity and rupture in which the social itself is questioned.
