Seyyed Hossein Nasr (Iran, 1933) is a philosopher and essayist, and one of the most prominent in the field of religious studies, especially on issues related to Islam researchers. He has authored over 50 books that address metaphysics, science, Sufism and Islamic philosophy. He currently serves as professor of Islamic Studies at George Washington University.
