Nørdicalibros born in 2006 with the intention of being the publisher in Spain of different literatures in the Nordic countries. In our catalog they have appeared classics and lesser-known authors, chosen for their literary quality. We edit the fundamental works of these countries, some published before in Spain, but that commercial criteria have been disappearing from the current catalogs. We recognize the essential contribution of the Nordic authors in world literature and therefore try, as far as we can, choose the titles guided by literary excellence criteria rather than their profitability in economic terms.

In addition to our interest in Nordic literature, reflected in the colecciónletrasnördicas, in the catalog there are other collections: colecciónilustrados, which is a very important commitment that we threw something at fault in publishing in Spain: picture books for adults; the third collection is colecciónotraslatitudes, dedicated to the recovery of basic texts of world literature. We have recently created two new lines: colecciónsoñandociudades and colecciónminilecturas.

We publish books with the utmost care. We believe that the contribution of new technologies should not mean losing trades that make the book is the largest element of cultural transmission, both for its content and its presence. We have been pioneers in conducting booktrailers, and are present on Facebook and Twitter. We pay special attention to the selection of texts and translations, but also their rigorous correction, selection of the most appropriate roles and fonts (for readability and beauty), as well as the best bindings to ensure the conservation of the book.
